e-Hoop @ EPALE, the Electronic Platform for Platform for Adult Learning in Europe
e-Hoop was registered at EPALE, the Electronic Platform for Platform for Adult Learning in Europe set up and managed by the European Commission. The project has been accepted as an official resource on the platform. EPALE is a multilingual open membership community for teachers, trainers, researchers, academics, policy makers and anyone else with a professional role in adult learning across Europe. Members of the community can engage with adult learning colleagues across Europe through forums, blogs and thematic areas which provide structured content according to a certain topic.
e-Hoop @ DISCUSS, the European Platform for Communities of Practice in Lifelong Learning
e-Hoop became a registered member of DISCUSS, a new European Platform for Communities of Practice in Lifelong Learning. The purpose of DISCUSS is to support the development and growth of web-based communities of practice active in the field of Lifelong Learning. The support includes a web-based Community Platform for online dialogue, exchange and collaboration between practitioners, learners, researchers, experts, stakeholders, and decision makers. The platform is explicitly designed as a social network to bring together people working or interested in Lifelong Learning for sharing common interests, concerns and providing mutual support. In 2015 more than 14,000 visitors watched more than 2 million sites on the portal. Within a little more than one month more than 200 visitors read the announcement of e-Hoop.
